- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 8 oz pasta (penne or your choice)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in red pepper flakes if using, then add the cooked pasta to the skillet.
- Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the garlic butter and chicken is evenly distributed.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley before serving.
