Description

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the yogurt, butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add egg and vanilla: Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Bake: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
