Description

This Easy White Chocolate Brownie Pizza is a delightful twist on traditional brownies, featuring a rich, fudgy brownie base topped with a smooth, creamy white chocolate mixture and your choice of fresh berries, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or crushed nuts. Perfect for a fun dessert that combines the indulgence of a brownie with the playful presentation of a pizza.

Ingredients

For the brownie base:

  • 1 box (18.3 oz) brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box, typically water, oil, and egg)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the white chocolate topping:

  • 8 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Optional toppings:

  • Fresh berries
  • Sprinkles
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Crushed nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or line it with parchment paper to prepare for the brownie base.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter. Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box, typically combining the mix with water, oil, and an egg. Fold in the melted unsalted butter until the batter is smooth and well combined.
  3. Spread and bake the brownie base. Pour the batter onto the prepared pizza pan and evenly spread it in a circular shape. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean but with a few moist crumbs.
  4. Cool the brownie base. Remove from the oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before adding the topping.
  5. Prepare the white chocolate topping. In a heatproof bowl, combine chopped white chocolate and heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined. Allow the mixture to cool slightly but remain pourable.
  7. Spread the topping on the brownie. Once the brownie base is cool, spread the white chocolate mixture evenly over it, leaving a small border around the edges to resemble a pizza crust.
  8. Add optional toppings and serve. Sprinkle the top with fresh berries, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or crushed nuts for added texture and flavor. Slice like a pizza and serve immediately for a delightful dessert experience.

Notes

  • Make sure the brownie base is completely cooled before spreading the white chocolate topping to prevent it from melting and becoming runny.
  • You can customize the pizza with any toppings you like such as shredded coconut or caramel drizzle.
  • If you do not have a microwave, melt the white chocolate and cream together gently over a double boiler.
  • This dessert is best enjoyed the same day for optimal texture and freshness.
