Description

This Veggie Cream Cheese Spread is a flavorful and colorful twist on traditional cream cheese spreads. Packed with finely chopped carrots, red bell pepper, cucumber, and green onions, this spread is perfect for snacking or as a party appetizer.

Ingredients

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

Veggie Mix-ins:

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber (seeds removed)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Veggie Mix-ins: Add the chopped carrots, red bell pepper, cucumber, green onions, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Adjust Seasoning and Chill: Taste and adjust seasoning. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  4. Serve: Serve with bagels, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
  • Spread can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
