Description

A quick and healthy vegetable stir fry packed with a variety of colorful veggies and savory flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup snow peas
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add all the vegetables and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until they are tender yet crisp.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil, and stir to combine.
  5. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using) and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to add tofu or chicken for extra protein.
  • Adjust the seasoning according to your taste, adding more soy sauce or hoisin sauce if desired.
  • This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
