Ingredients
Tortilla Chips:
1 bag (about 10 ounces)
Ground Meat:
1 pound ground beef or turkey
Taco Seasoning:
1 tablespoon
Water:
1/2 cup
Black Beans:
1 can (15 ounces), drained and rinsed
Cheese:
2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend
Pico de Gallo:
1 cup or diced tomatoes
Black Olives:
1/2 cup sliced
Jalapeños:
1/4 cup pickled
Avocado:
1 diced
Sour Cream:
1/2 cup
Cilantro:
1/4 cup chopped fresh
Lime Wedges:

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the liquid reduces.
- Layer the ingredients: On a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread a layer of tortilla chips. Top with seasoned meat, black beans, and shredded cheese. Repeat with another layer if desired.
- Bake: Bake for 8–10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Add toppings: Remove from the oven and top with pico de gallo, olives, jalapeños, avocado, sour cream, and chopped cilantro.
- Serve: Serve immediately with lime wedges.
Notes
- You can customize toppings with corn, green onions, queso, or hot sauce.
- For vegetarian nachos, omit the meat or use plant-based crumbles.
