Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
 - 2 cups egg noodles (cooked and drained)
 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
 - ½ cup sour cream
 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 
Additional Ingredients:
- ½ cup milk
 - 1 cup frozen peas and carrots (thawed)
 - ½ tsp garlic powder
 - ½ tsp onion powder
 - ½ tsp salt
 - ¼ tsp black pepper
 - 1 cup crushed buttery crackers or breadcrumbs
 - 2 tbsp melted butter
 
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
 - Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine chicken, noodles, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, peas and carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
 - Assemble: Transfer mixture to the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
 - Add Topping: Mix crushed crackers or breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle over the casserole.
 - Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
 - Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
 
Notes
- For added flavor, use rotisserie chicken and add crispy bacon bits.
 - Try broccoli or green beans for a different vegetable mix.
