Description

Indulge in the decadent sweetness of Turtle Magic Bars, a delightful dessert that combines the richness of caramel, chocolate, and pecans in every bite. These bars are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth cravings!

Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

Toppings:

  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup caramel bits (or soft caramels melted with 2 tablespoons cream)
  • 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut (optional)
  • flaky sea salt for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Make the crust: Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs in a bowl. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Add toppings: Pour sweetened condensed milk over the crust. Sprinkle chocolate chips, pecans, caramel bits, and coconut if using on top. Gently press down with a spatula.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  5. Cool and serve: Let the bars cool completely before cutting. Optionally, drizzle with extra melted caramel and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.

Notes

  • Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • For enhanced flavor, consider toasting the pecans before adding.
