Ingredients
Crust:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
Toppings:
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup caramel bits (or soft caramels melted with 2 tablespoons cream)
- 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut (optional)
- flaky sea salt for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Make the crust: Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs in a bowl. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Add toppings: Pour sweetened condensed milk over the crust. Sprinkle chocolate chips, pecans, caramel bits, and coconut if using on top. Gently press down with a spatula.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool and serve: Let the bars cool completely before cutting. Optionally, drizzle with extra melted caramel and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
