Ingredients
Crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Topping
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
 - 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Chocolate Ganache
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - Pinch of salt

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the crust.
 - Prepare Crust Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until the mixture is fully moistened and crumbly.
 - Bake Crust: Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8Ă—8-inch baking dish and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely to set.
 - Add Pecans: Evenly sprinkle the toasted chopped pecans over the cooled graham cracker crust layer.
 - Drizzle Caramel: Pour and gently spread the caramel sauce over the pecans to cover the entire layer evenly.
 - Make Ganache: In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the heavy cream until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
 - Pour Ganache: Pour the chocolate ganache over the caramel and pecan layer, smoothing it out with a spatula for an even finish.
 - Chill to Set: Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours or until the ganache is fully set and firm.
 - Serve: Cut the set dessert into 12 squares and serve chilled or at room temperature for a rich, layered treat.

Notes
- Ensure the crust is fully cooled before adding toppings to prevent melting the caramel and ganache.
 - For a homemade caramel sauce, simmer sugar, butter, and cream until golden and thickened.
 - Use toasted pecans for enhanced flavor and crunch.
 - The dessert can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
 - Allow the dessert to sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving for easier cutting and better flavor.
