- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs (optional, to absorb moisture)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, cranberries, onion, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and mustard (if using).
- Assemble the rolls: Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface, cut it into strips, place the turkey mixture on each strip, fold over, and seal the edges. Brush with beaten egg, score the tops, and bake.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
