Description

This Tropical Nicecream is a refreshing, dairy-free frozen dessert made from blended frozen bananas, pineapple, and mango. It’s naturally sweetened, creamy, and perfect for a healthy, vegan treat that captures the flavors of the tropics.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 2 ripe bananas (sliced and frozen)
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks

Liquids & Flavorings

  • ¼ cup coconut milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a high-speed blender or food processor, add the frozen bananas, pineapple, mango, coconut milk, lime juice, vanilla extract (if using), and a pinch of salt.
  2. Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides to ensure even blending. Add a splash more coconut milk if the mixture is too thick to blend properly.
  3. Serve or Freeze: Serve immediately as a soft-serve ice cream for a creamy texture, or transfer to a container and freeze for 1–2 hours to achieve a firmer scoopable texture.
  4. Scoop and Enjoy: After freezing, scoop the nicecream into bowls and enjoy your tropical frozen treat.

Notes

  • Top with toasted coconut flakes, chopped nuts, or fresh tropical fruit for extra flavor and crunch.
  • For added protein, blend in a scoop of plant-based protein powder.
