This Tropical Nicecream is a refreshing, dairy-free frozen dessert made from blended frozen bananas, pineapple, and mango. It’s naturally sweetened, creamy, and perfect for a healthy, vegan treat that captures the flavors of the tropics.
Ingredients
Fruits
- 2 ripe bananas (sliced and frozen)
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
Liquids & Flavorings
- ¼ cup coconut milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a high-speed blender or food processor, add the frozen bananas, pineapple, mango, coconut milk, lime juice, vanilla extract (if using), and a pinch of salt.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides to ensure even blending. Add a splash more coconut milk if the mixture is too thick to blend properly.
- Serve or Freeze: Serve immediately as a soft-serve ice cream for a creamy texture, or transfer to a container and freeze for 1–2 hours to achieve a firmer scoopable texture.
- Scoop and Enjoy: After freezing, scoop the nicecream into bowls and enjoy your tropical frozen treat.
Notes
- Top with toasted coconut flakes, chopped nuts, or fresh tropical fruit for extra flavor and crunch.
- For added protein, blend in a scoop of plant-based protein powder.
