These Teriyaki Parmesan Burgers with American Cheese are a delicious fusion twist on classic burgers. Juicy ground beef mixed with teriyaki sauce and Parmesan cheese, topped with gooey American cheese, and served on a toasted bun with your favorite toppings.
Ingredients
Main Burger:
- 1 pound ground beef (80–85% lean)
- 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Additional:
- 4 slices American cheese
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles for topping (optional)
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Mix Burger Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, teriyaki sauce, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Form into 4 patties.
- Cook Patties: Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook burgers for 4–5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Add American cheese during the last minute to melt.
- Assemble Burgers: Toast buns if desired. Place burgers on buns and add toppings. Serve hot.
