Description

These Teriyaki Parmesan Burgers with American Cheese are a delicious fusion twist on classic burgers. Juicy ground beef mixed with teriyaki sauce and Parmesan cheese, topped with gooey American cheese, and served on a toasted bun with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Main Burger:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80–85% lean)
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles for topping (optional)
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Mix Burger Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, teriyaki sauce, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Cook Patties: Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook burgers for 4–5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Add American cheese during the last minute to melt.
  3. Assemble Burgers: Toast buns if desired. Place burgers on buns and add toppings. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • Enhance the flavor with pineapple rings or grilled onions.
