Description

Indulge in these buttery and delightful Ted Lasso Biscuits that are perfect for tea time or any occasion. These shortbread bars are easy to make and even easier to enjoy!


Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (cold and cut into cubes)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
  3. Add Butter and Vanilla: Mix in cold butter cubes until mixture is crumbly. Add vanilla extract and form a soft dough.
  4. Bake: Press dough into pan, bake for 30–35 mins until lightly golden. Cool in pan.
  5. Slice: Lift from pan using parchment overhang, cut into bars.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the dough for a traditional shortbread texture.
