Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Spice Blend:

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

Optional:

  • 1 tablespoon milk for softer cookies
  • Extra sugar and chai spice for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and all the spices.
