Description

A cozy twist on classic meatloaf: savory, juicy beef wrapped around seasoned stuffing, then glazed with tangy ketchup. Perfect for comfort-food dinners or festive gatherings!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 (6 oz) box seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup ketchup (plus extra for glazing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine stuffing mix and warm milk; let sit 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. On parchment, press half the meat mixture into a rectangle. Layer with stuffing, leaving borders. Top with remaining meat, sealing edges.
  4. Spread ketchup on top. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 55–65 minutes or until internal temp reaches 160°F.
  5. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Add extra ketchup, if desired.

Notes

  • Mini muffin versions make fun, handheld appetizers.
  • Store-bought cranberry sauce is a tasty holiday topping.
  • Substitute ground turkey or gluten-free stuffing mix as needed.
  • Fold sautéed carrots, celery, or mushrooms into the stuffing for extra veggies.
