Description

A creamy and luscious Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, smooth cream cheese filling, and vibrant strawberry puree swirled throughout for a delightful fruity twist. Perfectly baked to a light golden finish and served chilled for a refreshing dessert experience.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 1/4 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and grease a springform pan. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan, creating an even crust layer.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese together with the granulated sugar until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to ensure a smooth texture. Stir in the sour cream until fully incorporated.
  3. Assemble the Cheesecake: Pour the cream cheese filling evenly into the prepared crust. Spoon dollops of strawberry puree on top of the filling. Using a knife, gently swirl the strawberry puree into the cream cheese mixture creating a marbled effect.
  4. Bake and Cool: Place the springform pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set around the edges and lightly golden on top. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely at room temperature. Then refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours to chill and firm up.
  5. Serve Chilled: Once fully chilled, slice the cheesecake into 8 to 8 servings, serve chilled, and enjoy the creamy texture with fruity strawberry swirls.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smoother batter.
  • Gently swirl the strawberry puree to avoid fully mixing it into the filling and losing the swirl effect.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best texture and flavor.
  • If available, use a water bath while baking to prevent cracking on top.
  • Strawberry puree can be made by blending fresh strawberries until smooth.
