Description

Indulge in the light and airy delight of Strawberry Mousse, a refreshing and elegant dessert perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Fresh Strawberry Purée:

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Gelatin Mixture:

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons cold water

Whipped Cream:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberry Purée: In a saucepan, cook strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice until soft. Blend until smooth, add vanilla.
  2. Prepare Gelatin Mixture: Bloom gelatin in water, melt, and stir into strawberry purée. Cool to room temperature.
  3. Whip Cream: In a separate bowl, whip cream and sugar to soft peaks.
  4. Combine & Chill: Gently fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture. Chill for 3 hours. Serve cold.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute some whipped cream with Greek yogurt.
