Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour

For the filling:

  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Dissolve Yeast: In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix Dough: In a large bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and yeast mixture. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead and Rise: Knead on a floured surface for 6 to 8 minutes, then let rise until doubled in size.
  4. Fill and Roll: Roll out dough, spread with butter, jam, sugar, cinnamon, and strawberries. Roll up and cut into rolls.
  5. Bake: Place rolls in a baking dish, let rise again, then bake until golden brown.
