Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: Wash the strawberries thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt or pesticides. Remove the green tops and slice each strawberry in half to make blending easier and smoother.
- Combine ingredients: In a blender, add the sliced strawberries, peeled medium ripe banana, plain Greek yogurt, and milk. These ingredients form the creamy and fruity base of the smoothie.
- Add sweetener: For added sweetness, drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup into the blender. This step is optional and can be adjusted based on your desired sweetness level.
- Add ice: Add 1/2 cup of ice cubes to the blender to chill the smoothie and give it a refreshing texture. Blend all ingredients together until smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary to ensure even blending.
- Serve immediately: Pour the smoothie into tall glasses and enjoy right away to best appreciate the fresh flavors and creamy texture.
