Description

This Spinach Stuffed Chicken recipe features tender chicken breasts filled with a creamy spinach and cheese mixture, baked to perfection. It’s a flavorful and satisfying dish that’s perfect for a special dinner or a family meal.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Filling:

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Toothpicks or kitchen twine for securing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the filling: Mix spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, and garlic. Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with the mixture.
  3. Season the chicken: with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sear the chicken: in a skillet until golden brown.
  5. Bake: in the oven for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Serve: Remove toothpicks before serving.

Notes

  • You can use frozen spinach—thaw and squeeze out excess moisture.
  • For extra flavor, add sun-dried tomatoes or chopped artichokes to the filling.
  • Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or a green salad.
