Ingredients
Puff Pastry:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
Filling:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Egg Wash:
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sauté garlic and spinach: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté garlic. Add chopped spinach, cook until wilted, season with salt, pepper, and oregano, then let cool slightly.
- Prepare filling: Stir in feta and Parmesan cheeses.
- Assemble: Roll out puff pastry, spread spinach mixture over one half, sandwich with the other half, cut into strips, twist, and place on baking sheet.
- Bake: Brush with beaten egg, bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Serve warm.
