Description

Ingredients

Puff Pastry:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

Filling:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté garlic and spinach: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté garlic. Add chopped spinach, cook until wilted, season with salt, pepper, and oregano, then let cool slightly.
  3. Prepare filling: Stir in feta and Parmesan cheeses.
  4. Assemble: Roll out puff pastry, spread spinach mixture over one half, sandwich with the other half, cut into strips, twist, and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake: Brush with beaten egg, bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Serve warm.
