Description

These Spicy Pineapple Margaritas are a delightful twist on the classic cocktail, featuring the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. Refreshing and vibrant, they are ideal for entertaining or simply unwinding after a long day.

Ingredients

Fresh Pineapple Juice:

1 1/2 cups

Silver Tequila:

1/2 cup

Triple Sec or Orange Liqueur:

1/4 cup

Fresh Lime Juice:

1/4 cup

Agave Syrup (or to taste):

1 tablespoon

Jalapeño:

1 small, sliced, seeds removed for less heat

Ice Cubes

Chili-Lime Salt or Tajín (for rimming)

Pineapple Wedges and Lime Slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rim the Glasses: Rim the edges of two glasses with lime juice and dip into chili-lime salt or Tajín.
  2. Prepare the Margarita Mixture: In a cocktail shaker or pitcher, combine pineapple juice, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, agave syrup, and jalapeño slices. Add ice and shake or stir well.
  3. Serve: Fill prepared glasses with ice, strain the margarita mixture into each glass, and garnish with pineapple wedges, lime slices, and additional jalapeño slices if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the jalapeño to taste—more slices for extra spice or muddle them for a stronger kick.
  • For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with ice until slushy.
