Delight your taste buds with these succulent Spicy Garlic Parmesan Grilled Shrimp skewers, served with a zesty Lemon-Herb Aioli. Perfect for a summer BBQ or a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

    For the shrimp:

  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • For the lemon-herb aioli:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the shrimp: In a large bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Marinate in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the aioli: Mix all aioli ingredients in a small bowl. Refrigerate until serving.
  3. Grill the shrimp: Preheat grill to medium-high. Thread shrimp onto skewers and grill for 2–3 minutes per side. Sprinkle Parmesan over shrimp in the last minute of grilling.
  4. Serve: Garnish shrimp with parsley. Serve hot with lemon wedges and chilled aioli.

Notes

  • If using wooden skewers, soak in water for at least 30 minutes.
  • For extra flavor, marinate longer or add lemon juice to the marinade.
