Ingredients
Taco Shells:
- 8 hard taco shells
Spaghetti Mixture:
- 8 ounces spaghetti pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti until al dente, drain, toss with olive oil, and set aside.
- Cook Meat: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Add garlic, then stir in marinara sauce, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer.
- Combine Ingredients: Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet, toss to coat. Fill taco shells with mixture and top with cheeses.
- Bake: Bake filled taco shells until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- This recipe works well with leftover spaghetti.
