Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Extracts: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and lemon extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. Add milk a tablespoon at a time until a soft dough forms.
- Shape and Bake: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls or scoop with a cookie scoop and place on prepared baking sheets. Flatten slightly and bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
