Description

Sopapillas Puff is a delightful Mexican-inspired pastry made with crescent roll dough, cinnamon sugar, and butter. These puffs are perfect for a sweet treat or snack, especially when served warm and drizzled with honey or dusted with powdered sugar.

Ingredients

Crescent Roll Dough Puffs:

  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Additional:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional for serving: honey, powdered sugar, or chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut each triangle in half lengthwise. Brush with melted butter, shape into puffs, and coat with cinnamon sugar.
  3. Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  4. Serve: Drizzle with honey or dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm with optional chocolate sauce.

Notes
