Description

These Soft Batch Monster Cookies are chewy, flavorful treats packed with peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips, and colorful M&M’s. Perfect for satisfying your cookie cravings!


Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix-Ins:

  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup mini M&M’s
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Add Mix-Ins: Stir in oats, chocolate chips, M&M’s, and peanuts if using.
  5. Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheets, bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let them finish setting on the baking sheet.
  • Try peanut butter chips or white chocolate chips for a different twist.
