- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla: Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beat until well combined.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually mix into wet mixture.
- Stir in oats and raisins: Stir in the oats and raisins until evenly distributed.
- Bake: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets, bake for 10–12 minutes until golden edges.
- Cool: Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For plumper raisins, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes and drain before adding to the dough.
