Description

Ingredients

    Chicken:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Rice:

  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup long grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Additional:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken: Pat chicken thighs dry, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Sear chicken: Sear chicken in a skillet until golden brown.
  4. Cook aromatics: Cook onion, garlic in butter.
  5. Add rice: Toast rice, add broth, cream, and seasonings.
