This fun dessert is perfect for sharing and brings the nostalgic flavors of s’mores into a quick, crowd-pleasing snack.
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 12 graham crackers, roughly broken up
- 2/3 bag mini marshmallows (about 2 cups)
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for baking the s’mores nachos.
- Layer the Ingredients: In an 8-inch cast iron skillet or any oven-safe dish, start by layering half of the broken graham crackers evenly. Next, sprinkle half of the semi-sweet chocolate chips followed by half of the mini marshmallows. Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake the Nachos: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Watch carefully for the marshmallows to become golden and the chocolate chips to melt nicely. For a crispier top, optionally switch the oven to broil and broil for 1–2 minutes.
- Drizzle and Serve: Remove from the oven and drizzle additional melted chocolate over the top for extra richness if desired. Allow the s’mores nachos to cool slightly before serving to allow them to set and be safe to eat.
Notes
- Use an oven-safe skillet or baking dish to hold the layers securely during baking.
- You can customize by adding nuts or different types of chocolate for a personalized twist.
- Keep a close eye when broiling as marshmallows can burn quickly.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent dessert.
