- 6 beef short ribs (about 300–350 g each)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¾ teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1½ cups ketchup
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups water

- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
- Prepare the Dry Rub: Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub the seasoning on the beef ribs.
- Make the BBQ Sauce: In a baking dish, combine minced garlic, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, black pepper, onion powder, mustard powder, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and water. Mix well.
- Cook the Ribs: Place the ribs in the sauce, cover, and bake for 3½ hours. Uncover, spoon sauce over ribs, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy with extra sauce!
