Description

A refreshing, creamy, and vibrant strawberry smoothie that’s quick to make and easy to enjoy. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or a cool pick-me-up any time of day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 1/2 to 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional)


Instructions

  1. Rinse and hull the strawberries if using fresh. Peel and slice the banana into chunks.
  2. Add the strawberries, banana, Greek yogurt, and milk into a blender. If using, add honey or maple syrup and ice cubes for a thicker texture.
  3. Blend on high until smooth and creamy. Pause to scrape down the sides if necessary. Add more milk for a thinner consistency if needed.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness or thickness by adding more honey or yogurt.
  5. Pour into a glass and serve immediately, garnished with fresh strawberry slices, chia seeds, or a mint sprig if desired.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruits or add more yogurt.
  • Can be made vegan by using plant-based yogurt and non-dairy milk.
  • Freeze any leftovers in ice cube trays or popsicle molds for a refreshing treat later.
