Ingredients

Rice Noodles:

8 oz,

Shrimp:

1/2 lb peeled and deveined,

Flank Steak:

1/2 lb thinly sliced against the grain,

Vegetable Oil:

2 tablespoons,

Sesame Oil:

1 tablespoon,

Red Bell Pepper:

thinly sliced,

Snap Peas:

1 cup,

Green Onions:

2, sliced,

Garlic:

2 cloves minced,

Ginger:

1 teaspoon grated fresh,

Teriyaki Sauce:

1/4 cup,

Soy Sauce:

2 tablespoons,

Honey:

1 tablespoon,

Cornstarch:

1 teaspoon mixed with 1 tablespoon water


Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Prepare the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the shrimp and steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet, cook the shrimp until pink and opaque, then set aside. Sear the steak slices in the remaining oil until browned, then set aside.
  3. Prepare the vegetables: In the same skillet, stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, snap peas, and green onions until crisp-tender.
  4. Make the sauce: Mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch slurry in a bowl. Pour into the skillet and simmer.
  5. Combine everything: Add noodles, shrimp, and steak back to the skillet. Toss to coat in sauce and cook until heated through.
  6. Serve: Garnish with extra green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute chicken or tofu for the shrimp and steak.
  • Add sriracha or red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
