Indulge in the spicy and flavorful fusion of Indo-Chinese cuisine with this delicious Schezwan Paneer Pizza recipe. It’s a perfect blend of fiery Schezwan sauce, succulent paneer, and colorful veggies atop a crispy pizza base.

Ingredients

Pizza Base:

  • 1 prepared pizza base (12-inch, homemade or store-bought)

Sauce Mixture:

  • 1/2 cup Schezwan sauce
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce

Toppings:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 200 g paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cubed and lightly sautéed
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
  • 1/4 cup sweet corn kernels
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Prepare the Base: Place the pizza base on a baking tray or stone.
  3. Make the Sauce: Mix Schezwan sauce with pizza sauce and spread it over the base.
  4. Add Cheese: Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Add Toppings: Arrange paneer cubes, onions, bell peppers, and sweet corn on the pizza.
  6. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Finish and Serve: Sprinkle chili flakes, oregano, garnish with coriander, and slice before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add sliced green chilies or more Schezwan sauce.
  • You can use whole wheat or multigrain pizza base for a healthier option.
  • Marinate paneer in Schezwan sauce for a more intense flavor.
