Description

These savory chicken teriyaki noodles are a delicious and satisfying dish that combines tender chicken with flavorful teriyaki sauce, all served over a bed of noodles. This recipe is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

For the Teriyaki Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

For the Noodles:

  • 8 oz cooked noodles of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the sliced chicken breasts with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Make the Teriyaki Sauce: In a small saucepan, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same pan, add vegetable oil and stir-fry bell pepper and onion until tender.
  5. Combine Everything: Add the cooked noodles and teriyaki sauce to the pan with the vegetables. Toss to combine.
  6. Serve: Plate the noodles and chicken, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can customize this dish by adding your favorite vegetables like broccoli, snap peas, or carrots.
