Ingredients

Italian Sausage Links:

1 ½ pounds

Olive Oil:

1 tablespoon

Bell Peppers:

1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow, sliced

Onion:

1 large, sliced

Garlic:

3 cloves, minced

Dried Oregano:

½ teaspoon

Dried Basil:

½ teaspoon

Red Pepper Flakes:

¼ teaspoon (optional)

Diced Tomatoes:

1 (14.5-ounce) can, with juice

Salt and Black Pepper:

Instructions

  1. Heat Olive Oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage links for 8–10 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Sauté Peppers and Onions: In the same skillet, cook the peppers and onions until softened, about 5–7 minutes. Add garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes; cook for another minute.
