Description

These flavorful Salmon Patties are a quick and easy way to enjoy delicious seafood. Made with canned salmon, these crispy patties are perfect for a weeknight dinner or lunch.

Ingredients

Salmon Patties:

  • 1 (14.75 oz) can salmon (drained, bones removed)
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter (for frying)
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine drained salmon, egg, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form Patties: Shape the mixture into 6–8 patties, pressing gently to hold shape.
  3. Cook: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  4. Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve warm with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • You can use fresh cooked salmon instead of canned.
  • For a gluten-free version, substitute with almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  • Enjoy with tartar sauce or a side salad.
