Ingredients
For the Cornish Hens:
- 2 Cornish hens
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
For the Herb Butter:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and parsley)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Cornish Hens: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Rinse the hens inside and out, then pat dry with paper towels.
- Season the Hens: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this mixture all over the hens.
- Make the Herb Butter: In another bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
