Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Add Rice Krispies: Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, being careful not to crush them too much.
- Bake: Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly and bake for 10–12 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Cool: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
