Description

This Refreshing Green Juice is a vibrant, healthy beverage packed with fresh cucumber, celery, spinach, and green apple, enhanced by the zing of fresh ginger and the bright acidity of lemon juice. Perfect for a detox or a revitalizing drink, this juice is easy to make, naturally vegan, gluten-free, and paleo-friendly.

Ingredients

Vegetables and Fruits

  • 1 large cucumber, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 green apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Liquids and Others

  • 1/2 cup cold water (or more, as needed)
  • Ice cubes (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash and chop the cucumber, celery, green apple, spinach, and parsley. Peel the ginger and squeeze the juice from one lemon to prepare all fresh ingredients for blending.
  2. Blend Mixture: Add cucumber, celery, green apple, spinach, parsley, and ginger to a blender. Pour in the lemon juice and cold water. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Strain Juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve or a nut milk bag into a pitcher or glass. Press or squeeze gently to extract all the juice, leaving behind the pulp.
  4. Serve: Discard or save the pulp for smoothies or compost. Serve the freshly extracted green juice immediately over ice cubes if desired for a chilled refreshing drink.

Notes

  • For additional sweetness, add a small piece of pineapple or an extra apple to the blender before blending.
  • To keep the juice fresh and chilled, store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and shake well before serving.
