  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter.
