Description

These Pull-Apart Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are a fun and delicious appetizer perfect for sharing. Soft and cheesy pizza dough pieces are tossed with pizza sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella, then baked in a bundt pan for a golden, pull-apart treat that’s great for game days or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Pizza Dough & Sauce

  • 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup pizza sauce

Fillings

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni

Toppings & Seasonings

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Other

  • Nonstick cooking spray (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a bundt pan or a round baking dish with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Dough Pieces: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into small squares approximately 1 1/2 inches each. This size allows even cooking and easy pull-apart bites.
  3. Toss with Fillings: Place the dough squares into a large bowl. Add the pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, and sliced pepperoni. Gently toss the mixture until all pieces are evenly coated with sauce and toppings.
  4. Transfer to Pan: Spoon the dough mixture into the prepared bundt pan, spreading it evenly to fill all spaces for an even bake.
  5. Melted Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Drizzle this flavorful mixture evenly over the dough pieces in the pan to infuse additional taste and promote browning.
  6. Add Parmesan Cheese: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top for a savory finish.
  7. Bake: Place the bundt pan in the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the pizza rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Rest and Serve: Remove from the oven and allow the rolls to rest for 5 minutes. Then invert the pan onto a serving plate to release the pull-apart pizza rolls. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.

Notes

  • You can customize these rolls by adding cooked sausage, olives, or bell peppers for extra flavor.
  • If the top starts browning too quickly during baking, loosely cover the pan with foil for the last 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Make sure to let the rolls rest before inverting to avoid breaking apart prematurely.
  • Using a bundt pan helps create the signature pull-apart shape but a round baking dish can be substituted.
