Ingredients
Puff Pastry Samosas:
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup green peas (boiled)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt to taste
Toppings:
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (whisked)
- 2 tablespoons tamarind chutney
- 2 tablespoons green chutney
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons sev (crispy chickpea noodles)
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Samosas: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cook potato filling with spices. Fill puff pastry with filling, fold, and bake.
- Assemble Chaat: Break samosas onto a plate. Drizzle with yogurt, chutneys. Top with onions, tomatoes, sev, and cilantro. Serve.
