Ingredients
Main Dish:
- 4 cups cooked chicken (shredded or chopped)
 - 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
 - 1 cup sour cream
 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
 - 1/4 tsp salt
 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
 - 1 tbsp poppy seeds
 
Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups crushed buttery round crackers (about 1 sleeve)
 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
 
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
 - Mix Chicken Mixture: Combine chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and poppy seeds in a bowl. Spread in the baking dish.
 - Prepare Topping: Mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the chicken mixture.
 - Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
 
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken can be used for convenience.
 - Serve with rice, green beans, or a salad.
 - For added richness, add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese before baking.
