Description

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, poppy seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix milk, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  4. Combine and Bake: Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients; stir until just combined. Pour batter into pan, smooth the top, and bake for 45–50 minutes.
