Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing and flouring it.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a large bowl, beat together the oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth. Add pumpkin puree, milk, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Combine wet and dry: Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into the pan, smooth the top, and bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool and serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
