Description

This Pepperoni Pizza Dip is a crowd-pleasing appetizer that combines all the flavors of a classic pizza in a gooey, cheesy dip. Perfect for game day or any gathering, this easy-to-make dish will be a hit with everyone!

Ingredients

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 20-25 slices of pepperoni
  • Chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Crackers, baguette slices, or breadsticks for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  3. Layer Ingredients: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the bottom of a baking dish. Spoon the pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan over the sauce. Top with pepperoni slices.
  4. Bake: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped basil or parsley, if desired. Serve warm with crackers, baguette slices, or breadsticks.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped black olives, cooked sausage, or diced bell peppers before baking.
  • Use a mini slow cooker to keep the dip warm at parties.
