  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For topping:

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and brown sugar. Add chopped pecans.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just combined. Spread the batter in the dish.
