Ingredients
Fritos:
- 1 bag (10 oz) Fritos corn chips (lightly crushed)
Caramel:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Topping:
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (melted for drizzling)
Instructions
- Prepare Baking Dish: Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease lightly. Spread crushed Fritos evenly in the dish.
- Make Caramel: In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup over medium heat. Boil gently, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and mix in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Assemble Candy: Quickly pour the caramel over the Fritos, spreading evenly. Add melted chocolate if desired.
