Ingredients
Peanut Butter Cookie Dough:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Brownie Dough:
- 1/2 cup brownie mix (dry, from a boxed mix)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and peanut butter until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Prepare chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Mix brownie dough: Remove a portion of dough and mix the dry brownie mix into it.
- Create swirls: Drop spoonfuls of both doughs randomly, press lightly together, and swirl gently without overmixing.
